Some thoughts on the Kony 2012 campaign

hey Lauren -
ReplyDeleteI emailed my recruiter a second time to remind her that I was waiting for an interview (after they had received all of my info: application, fingerprint charts, etc). She appreciated the reminder since they're dealing with lots of future PCV. I scheduled an interview for 2 days after, it went great and got my nomination that same day!
After you see on your toolkit that they received everything I would suggest sending a friendly email to your recruiter just in case. It's better to be persistent (not annoying!) that waiting around and your status become inactive.
Hope all goes well with your interview soon!
Unfortunately, my toolkit is apparently slow at updating. It's still showing that nothing other than the initial application and health review have been turned in, even though my first recommendation was submitted during the first week of May and the packet should have arrived in Chicago no later than the 18th.
ReplyDeleteI emailed my recruiter several days ago, but haven't heard anything back yet. I'm trying to remember that the Peace Corps has a ton of applicants right now and that they're all probably just as impatient as I am.
